About Calvin:
- He is a jitter-bug! He loves dancing with Mommy and Daddy, and he loves rocking out to his musical tiger baby disco ball.
- He is a snuggle-bug! Just lately, he has started to get upset by any mommy-daddy snuggling that does not involve him, preferably with him in the middle like a Calvin-sandwich. He loves kisses and eskimo kisses, and I think he is learning to give kisses back.
- He is a Curious George and likes to lift his head and look all around when being carried. Sometimes his head gets too heavy and he inadvertently bashes his head into Mommy's face or shoulder. (And I have an eye-glasses print on my nose to prove it.)
- He likes tummy-time provided it is on Daddy's tummy. He hates floor tummy-time. I think he hates it because he doesn't see the point, because he is actually pretty strong.
- He rarely cries (usually just huffs, fusses, and bleats like a goat), but when he does cry, it is a piercing and blood-curdling scream of pain, anguish and betrayal.
- He will not make eye contact when he is working on a diaper, or when he is mad at you.
- He loves diaper changes, baths, and especially getting dried with the hair-dryer.
- He loves "this is the way the Calvin rides."
- Peek-a-boo is way too scary. He gets scared when Mommy's face disappears behind the blanket.
- He is a morning baby.
- I am in love with his sweet toothless grin, his husky little voice, and the way his long eyelashes curl up against his cheek.
